Who We Are

SeaWater Express Inc uses science and innovation in an effort to dramatically improve marine aquaculture life. For the past twenty-six years, the company has concentrated on producing better technology, higher quality water filtration and specimen nutritional needs.

Thirteen years ago, SeaWater Express Inc embarked on a new venture to cultivate Penaeus Vannamei (known as the white shrimp) and several other species of marine specimens and macroalgae. Our farm produces disease free specimens that live in ozone treated natural fresh seawater from the Pacific Ocean. Filters within this system have been enhanced to emulate the sensitive biological ocean environment.

Our twelve hundred square foot indoor state of the art nursery hosts the growth of Nauplii and post larvae before transporting them to outdoor ponds for maturation. These shrimp come from USDA certified brood stock that have been inspected and have been certified disease and pathogen free by the United States Department of Agriculture. We feed our post larvae 100% frozen and freeze dried Cyclop-eeze, frozen freshwater mysids and Spirulina flakes.

Shrimp are raised in full salinity to maintain optimum flavor and reduce stress. Although using full salinity is expensive, this method is believed by some to give the specimens a better flavor and texture. All of our seawater is sterilized by ozone and UV systems to maintain disease free status. Evaporation is replaced with Reverse Osmosis water.

Our customers demand the best tasting and most nutritionally complete products we can offer. Due to the high demand for shrimp this year, we are happy to announce that our hatchery will be producing all sizes of shrimp and operating year round.
